"This agent was so nice until we made the payment. Then State Farm did not send beacon device and removed me from drive safe and save program and increased my premium. I can understand that mistakes happen but the worst part is this agent does not put any effort to resolve the issue and act as a barrier between you and State Farm. They failed to send me shipping details up on request. Only thing they did is arguing on the basis of an automated warning email that I received. They don't have any voice as they failed to provide me with the shipping info and it is illegal to remove customer from discount program without even shipping the required devices. State Farm will route everything through agent, and State Farm told me that agent can fix the issue but this agent lied me they can't help. So your best bet is to go with some other agent, who is willing to work for you, than going to this inflated-reviewed-agent. My advice for you is that you have to be very careful going with 5 star rated business because they maintain the number with fake reviews and the real * could be 1 or 2. Now with AI tools like Chat GPT it is very easy to generate fake positive reviews in no time. In my experience they deserve 0 star."

So why, you ask, am I taking time to write this review? I believe you need to tell good stories whenever you have one and not wait as the memory fades and the urge to write nice things might go away. So let me tell you about the wonderful experience I had this morning with Ryan Murchland: I answered one of those things on Facebook that connects you with every insurance agent in the known world. I think I got two responses from New Zealand. Ryan and I connected by phone first and I asked if we could work together by text as I can respond when I can because of medical issues we are having here. He was delighted to just text back and forth. We set up a time on a Tuesday to talk but, I had, what is sometime called a bad day. It seems that all the meetings I had planned for that day went kaphlooey. So 30 minutes before our meeting I had to cancel. He was so gracious and we met today. Our time was to be at 10.00 so I was looking at the Atomic Clock to verify the time, just to be contrary and silly. Well, he called at six minutes after the hour, well within social norms. I told him I was going to bust his chops about it but since I had canceled the day before I was hoping we could just both walk away from it. We got into the conversation and we talked at length about coverages and limits and things which make my eyes glass over, but, he was so cordial and patient we had a great time of it. At one point he said, "I don't know." I immediately said, "Third base." I knew I had a kindred spirit when I could hear his chuckle. We went on to finalize the phone call and I said my wife and I need to talk about the coverage, when in fact it's my oldest daughter who wants a finger in it. To make a long story short: too late, I know, I'll probably change carriers after over 25 with the carrier I have now. Of course I'll get a 20% break on price but I'll have the chance to talk to Ryan from time to time which will make the switch worthwhile. I'll go away now. I hope you know that this is not a paid endorsement, although I would take non-sequential bills of most any denomination. I just think the guy is an honest, hard working guy and you need to work with good people when you can. Dan"
